Miranda and Reno
Dear
Keith & Dana,
Thank you so much for selling me Reno!~ I have had so much fun this summer
barrel racing and trail riding him. I can't wait for the next barrel
season to start! It should be fun when my mom and I start team penning
with him. (Hopefully my mom doesn't change her mind.) Thanks for
sponsoring me in the MBRA. I'll keep you posted on how I do. Thanks Again,
I really LOVE Reno!!

Kayla and Lance
Sept.
12, 2006
Growing up in the suburbs of St. Paul, Minnesota I never saw rodeos and
wasn't interested in horses. All that changed, when my mom got remarried
and my family moved to the small town of Drayton, North Dakota. It wasn't
until fourth grade that I saw my first rodeo. The first time I saw one, I
went rodeo crazy. I especially took an interest in the barrel racing. I
dreamed of barrel racing someday myself, and that is when my parents
bought me my first horse.
Unfortunately, my
first horse wasn't exactly beginner material. So in hopes that she would
become a good enough horse for me to do the barrels we sent her to Wojo's
for some training. Although Keith did
a good job with her she just wasn't a horse to start off on. After I got
bucked off I didn't want to ride her anymore. My dream began to fade and I
started to lose interest in horses.
That is when my
mom sold my mare and bought Buster from Keith in May of 2005. I tried to
ride Buster, but he isn't a horse for a beginner either. By this time, I
didn't think I was meant to ride horses and didn't want anything to do
with them. Then Keith told my mom about Lance. Lance was the horse that
brought my dream back to life. Within a month of having Lance I was racing
the barrels, poles, keyhole, figure eight barrels, butterfly race, flag
race, barnyard jumping, and more. After riding Lance for a while, I was
finally able to ride Buster. Both horses have made me a good rider and
taught me many things.
Now I still
compete in games and I have started team penning. I plan to eventually
start roping on Lance and then make Buster my roping horse. I am so
thankful that my mom found Wojo's Horse Training. I used to pray for
better horses and Wojo's was the answer to my prayers. Thanks to Wojo's,
not only do I have Buster and Lance, but what used to be dreams has become
realistic goals.

Krissy and Ameera
I
just thought I'd send you an update on Ameera's progress.
I used her at NDSU's College rodeos. I just started running her around the
barrels at these college rodeos in March. We attended about 5 or 6 of
them, and at ever rodeo she improved her time. She loves to run, and I
believe she's getting the idea of what I'm asking of her. The way she acts
when we enter the area I know she wants to compete.
She wasn't in
totally top shape, and we never placed, but we were running against some
'high money' barrel horses. We weren't going to win, just to compete
against our own time and to improve. Well, she certainly made me happy
with every run. My best run with her was at our county fair in Hamilton at
the Rough Rider Rodeo Saturday (July 16th) night. Our time was 15.86.
Unfortunately the qualifying time was
around 15.4. She made her best cuts around the barrels, and I received
many comments on how well she did. So that made my weekend.
July 31st she was bred and I am very excited to have a foal out of her. I
have attached a picture of Ameera and I running the barrels for the
Lincoln, Nebraska college rodeo held in Elkhorn, NE on April 16th, 2005.
This would have been her 3rd college rodeo.
I am very pleased
with her and couldn't ask for a better horse.
Hope you had a
great summer, and had a great turn-out for all your events you held over
the summer. I wish I would have had more time to get over to at least one
of them, but there is always next summer.
Thanks again!

Cassy and the Wilsons
Hello,
I just thought you would like to see how well Cassy is doing. She has
those girls riding like crazy! Remember these are the same girls you
showed how to hold the reins and how to stop and now I have to tell them
to slow down. That's how well she minds. Every day they're ready to go and
Cassy is always
a wonderful baby sitter. Cassy seems to love to see the girls and loves to
go for a ride. She has so much patience with them.
I took her to cowboy church on Sunday and she stood for an hour and a half
and never moved. After church we ran some barrels, and practiced roping.
Then the girls got on and went for a trail ride. We could not be any
happier!!
Any way Thank you~

Cassy and the Wilsons
Hello,
Just thought I would send you these pics from the horse show. Stef was in
six events and got 1st in 5 and second in one. Emily got 3 second places
and one third. So they're pretty happy. I have to fight to ride the darn
horse.

Just wanted to let you know that I am
very happy with the two horses, Katie and Missy, that I had in for
training last summer. Both are going very well and I earned ribbons in
pleasure classes with each of them at a show in September! Keep up the
good work! Thanks!

I bought Joy from the Wojos in 1999 as a
4-year-old. Keith told me that she would be great for barrel racing, and
he was right. I started her on barrels and pole bending right after I got
her from the Wojos and began to high-school rodeo with her. By the next year, I
was placing in rodeos. I continued to use Joy in Jackpots and other barrel
racing events and was doing even better.
I now use her for college rodeo competition
where I take her to many different states and compete against tough college
competitors. I am currently in the top ten in the Great Plains Region.
I would like to thank the Wojos for selling me
such a great horse!

I haven't had a chance to take a photo
yet. I have taken two horses to Wojo's for training and have had excellent
outcomes with both horses.

I haven't had a chance to take a photo
yet. I have taken two horses to Wojo's for training and have had excellent
outcomes with both horses.
The first horse that I took was a 3-year-old
mare that was trained specifically for me (Feb. 2003). The reining on this
horse is right now; she will do exactly what you want and when you want
it. This horse has been on the trails, I have put her on barrels, and I
have used her to chase a run-away horse. This is the best-trained horse that I
have ridden in many years. Mind you this is only a 3-year-old.
The second horse I brought to Wojo's was a
2-year-old mare (June 2003). I requested this mare be trained for halter
shows. My 8-year-old daughter later showed this horse at halter and
brought home a blue ribbon.
When you bring your horse to
Wojo's, both you
and your horse feel welcome and you are offered good conversation that includes
helpful horsemanship tips. At Wojo's they let you know how your horse has been
trained , so you are aware of what techniques were used with the horse, allowing
you the knowledge of exactly what cues your horse will respond to.
Last of all, when you leave your horse at
Wojo's you can feel confident that your horse will be properly trained and cared
for.
Thanks for doing a great job!
